this was a lovely place to stay. Georgio and Alberto were very helpful to us and friendly.

Fabulous place, half way between ferry depot & restaurants, views breath taking & on a practical note, the washing machine was great. We were a bit stressed about getting our bags out, as they were heavy with being away for a month. The hosts were great getting us in there & indicated they could help us get a taxi to the train station when leaving. However we had to try ourselves, had no luck & no success with very little communication from the hosts either. We ended up taking our half empty bags down the steps to the waterfront & repacking them in the dark at 6am & towing them up to the train station. So just a warning about staying there with heavy bags, as there are many uneven steep stairs. Blackout curtains in the bedrooms & a nice cafe table set on the balcony would be some other suggestions also

Excellent. Loved it. Good unit. Well equipped. Good location. Walkable to town center, waterfront, ferry, other restaurants and shops. Balcony overlooks a busy walkway during the day, but it gets quiet at night. Fun for people watching. We saw a couple get engaged on the edge of the water.

Beautiful home in a beautiful place! Giorgio, is an amazing host and person! We truly loved every moment of our stay here and will definitely come back! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t regret it.

Amazing location right on the lake and near to the town square with cafes and restaurants. Walking distance to both the ferry terminal and train station. The place was perfect for our family of 4 although there were some steep stairs that is expected of Varenna. The complimentary bottle of wine was a lovely touch!

This unit is not what is being described......we were very dissatisfied as we felt we did not get what was advertised!

we took a day trip to bellagio and menaggio to see the other places in lake como. However, we feel Giorgio's place in Varenna is the place to be. A strategic location with stunning views just outside the balcony. Also, Alberto was great. He picked us up at the station, helped with our bags, gave us a thorough explanation on how to use the keys, gave us info regarding the airbnb, ferries, and lake como. Great stay!
